What's with the whole "Dread Pilot" thing anyway?

The inspiration for the title of this blog comes directly from the movie "The Princess Bride". Since it's probably not safe to assume everyone here has seen and remembers every part of the movie , I shall provide a brief synopsis: In the movie, there is a pirate (whose last name happens to be Roberts) who is supposedly fearce and scary, so they call him Dread Pirate Roberts. We used to joke that if we had a boy, we'd name him Dread Pirate. Anyway, most of you probably know that my husband, Lee, is an airline pilot. Realizing also that our last name is Roberts...you can probably put two and two together at this point. I couldn't help the whole word play thing. I'm actually quite pleased with my creativity (not generally a strong point for me)! Have I mentioned that I love comments telling me how smart and creative I am? Oh wait, hold that thought. I suppose I have to actually tell people I have a blog before anyone will be able to read and respond...
