Mother's Day 2013

I LOVE my kids!!! Melissa is the cutest thing EVER and makes us all so happy! And my older girls and so thoughtful and loving!! I love Mother's Day simply for the thoughtful gifts I keep getting year after year.

Lee tried to get a nice pictures of the girls all together, but Melissa didn't want to cooperate! That actually makes me laugh since usually the older girls fight anytime they are within five feet of each other (let alone 5 cm), but this year they did great and Melissa picked up where they left off. :) I still love this picture, though. Probably because I love these girls!!

This year Morgan surprised me by making me two things she'd read about in a magazine. I love imagining her staying up late in her room to make these things for me: a flower bouquet and an ABC book.

 The best part is how she improvised. Apparently the flowers were supposed to be things you could make for a dog tag or something like that, but she made them into flowers for me. :) The ABC book will be one of those things I treasure forever! She wrote a word for me for every single letter of the alphabet, along with a little elaboration. She also included several poems. Here are a few sample pages for you to enjoy:

This year Brynne made me a nice paper corsage and a thoughtful card. When
 you read the card and realize that I am often tired, just remember it is really tiring to be magnificent and organized!!! :)
