A few days ago, we decided to take Lee his new car. We were very anxious to see if he'd fit in it okay with the sunroof (which it turns out makes for a slightly smaller ceiling). Brynne and I drove to Delta, UT on Monday to meet up with Lee there and trade cars. Before we completed the trade, however, we had a picnic lunch.
Brynne LOVES her Daddy and was so excited to see him. I took two really cute pictures of them together; and since I can't decide which one is cuter, you get to see both: :)

Then we got to the part of the day where we saw if Lee fit in his car okay. It was a bit of a squeeze, but no worries, Lee figured out a way to make it work...

Brynne jumped at the chance to put her head through the roof with Daddy. Oh, the small pleasures in life...

(For those who are wondering...Lee really did fit okay without putting his head through the sunroof. If he starts letting his hair grow again, he might not fit anymore; but he assures me it will be just fine.)
It was a short visit, but we were glad to have an hour together. We were also glad for a short little budding photographer who was willing to take our picture together.

And by the way...Lee completes his first "rotation" (is that what it's called?) in less than two weeks. Then he'll be home for TWO WHOLE WEEKS with us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love the pictures. Glad Lee fits in his car. I am glad your brain was working well enough to get to Delta:)By the way - how long does it take for Lee to get to Ely?
Cute pics. :) You can come hang out with me when you get sick of Lee on his 3rd day home. ;)
It looks like it will only take about 3 hours and 45 minutes (or less without construction) for Lee to get to/from Ely.
And by the way, I traded Lee's car in yesterday. So now we're totally done with all things car! I was happy to trade away Lee's car, except that we sure did have some good times vacationing in that car this summer... :)
You really think she'll last three days Denise?
