A Couple Pictures and A Good Laugh

First, a good laugh... As you may know, I've been getting over a pretty bad cold. A few days ago, I was feeling much better but was holding onto a lingering cough and runny nose. My sister Alyson called to say hello. I can't remember what all I was doing, but it was one of those things where I was holding the phone to my ear with my shoulder and was holding something. I needed to blow my nose, so I used my one free hand to hold the tissue and started blowing. I suddenly realized I hadn't been able to move the phone away and apologized to Alyson for blowing my nose right in her ear. She started laughing and said, "I thought you were running the garbage disposal!" :)

This first picture is from Morgan's birthday way back in July. I just realized that I somehow never got a picture of her cake posted on my blog. Hopefully you can tell it's a kitty. We couldn't find the candy you were supposed to use for the ears, eyes, nose, and paws; so I let Morgan pick a candy out to use. She picked Sour Patch Kids (which her Dad LOVES) -- I think it turned out all right! :)
A few weeks ago, we drove up to Layton to see my grandma. (It's no wonder I forgot to blog about this -- it was as we were headed home from this visit that our car gave out on us...) She was visiting at my cousin Sarah's, so the girls and I went over for a visit. Morgan and Brynne got to play with Sarah's girls; while Sarah, Tilly, and I visited. Here's a picture of Tilly with all the kids -- Morgan, Brynne, Rilee, Alivia.

So for now my blog is up to date. That ought to last a whole day or two, don't you think? :)
