I also managed to make enough extra room in Brynne's room (see last two pictures) to move most of the toys into her room, so Morgan has a decent amount of floor space to play on in her room:

New Beds and New Rooms
Morgan and Brynne have spent half their lives sharing rooms and the other half having their own rooms. When we bought this house two years ago, we decided to have the girls share a room so we could have one room dedicated completely to toys and playing. Recently, however, Morgan has expressed the desire to have her own room. I struggled with how to make that happen because both bedrooms are small. If we had a bed and a dresser in each room, I didn't figure that would leave much room for playing; plus, the rooms would be super cluttered. After a great deal of thought and a few hours on KSL (a Utah version of Craigslist), I came up with a solution. A bed with a built-in dresser:
This new bed is PERFECT for Morgan!! The drawers underneath are all huge, so we have more than enough space for all her clothes and shoes. If you look at the bottom of the bed, you can tell that the bed frame is a foot longer than the mattress. When Lee is here next week, we're hoping he will make a headboard with a few shelves. Then we'll scoot the mattress all the way down to make room for the headboard at the top.
I also managed to make enough extra room in Brynne's room (see last two pictures) to move most of the toys into her room, so Morgan has a decent amount of floor space to play on in her room:
The reason we could fit so many toys into Brynne's room is because we turned the bunk bed into a loft bed. There's really a full-size bed that goes on the bottom of this bunk bed, but I just took it off. I realize that leaves the bed somewhat unsupported, but for now I'm feeling confident that it will be okay. I'm keeping my eye out for other loft beds or other options, but for now this is working great! Brynne thinks it's wonderful to have her own bed and to have a "club" area under the bed.
The best part of the setup in Brynne's room is that it leaves so much floor space to play on:
If you look to the left in the picture above, you'll see the multimedia shelf I put together to store all the girls' VHS movies. I am very, very excited about how nicely everything came together with the room switching! (Here's hoping a little personal space will help everyone get along a little better too!) :)

The rooms look great. The best part is that the girls look so happy.
You got the bed!! Looks like a great set up that will please both girls. I also looked at your last few posts- So glad we got Morgan that pink sweater because she loves it. Also about the coupons- I was stressed just reading about how I could be saving money and organizing coupons. Obviously, my brain doesn't work like that either (or it does?- oxy moron!!). :) :)
