Summer Vacation!

Today was the last day of school for both my girls. Brynne got done at 11:00 and Morgan got done at 12:00 noon. From the way things are in the house right now, you'd never know it wasn't just any other Friday...but for some reason I'm really feeling the change. I've been looking forward to not having to wake Morgan up in the morning, and I've been excited for a free summer to have quality time with the girls; but I find that I'm quietly mourning the end of this school year. Is it that my girls are growing up? Is it that I'm worried about all the fighting I will have to listen to this summer? Perhaps it's that I'm totally going to miss the girls' teachers. Yes, that's definitely part of it!!! I posted a picture of Morgan with her teacher a few posts back. Well, here's Brynne with her teacher, Miss Erica. She was wonderful with Brynne this year!
And here's a picture of Brynne with her class. It's easy to spot Brynne as she's the tallest kid in the class (thanks for the tall genes, Lee). :)

One thing's for sure...I'm going to sit around and enjoy my yard as much as possible this summer! Here's a recent picture of the front corner of the yard. I think it looks beautiful with the purple iris flowers and the white flowers on the bushes. What fun! :)
