Snow Cave in Our Yard
My computer is finally fixed!! (Thanks, Paul!!!) I wanted to post these pictures two weeks ago, but that's when my computer quit recognizing the drive where I insert my picture memory card. I figure better late than never, though, right? So here are some pictures of the snow cave the girls and I made in our front yard. It has actually been quite warm lately, and this pile of snow is now only half as tall and the snow cave is now roofless, but the girls enjoyed it for a week or so. Next year maybe we'll think of making a snow cave sooner.
They ducked their heads so you could see them for the picture, but we made it quite large inside. The girls had a decent amount of space to the sides, and there was enough space above them to sit up without hitting their heads. The girls had so much fun playing in there that I had a tough time convincing them that sleeping in the snow cave was not an option. :)
So admittedly, this last picture is not of a snow cave. It's a picture of some flowers my dad gave my mom. I really like flowers, but I'm not usually one to take pictures of flowers and then post them on my website. I couldn't help it with these, though. Isn't that the most beautiful lily you've ever seen! My mom wasn't there to enjoy it as much as I was, so I took this picture for you, Mom! :)
And now I'm off to see if I can convince my body to go to sleep an hour earlier than normal. For some reason I'm dreading this time change more than I normally do...

Mmmm ... I can almost smell the lilies, which I LOVE!!! I don't think I ever told you that my first office with WaggEd had lillies in the lobby as you came in. I LOVED smelling that first thing every day ... until some people complained and had them removed. What's wrong with them?!?
Total blast!! I think you know lilys are my favorite flower (my wedding flowers)!! Isn't Dad sweet to always get Mom flowers?!! Every time I go home to visit there is a beautiful fresh bouquet of flowers to enjoy. :)
That snow cave is so awesome! I bet they loved playing in there. Great pictures, glad your computer is up and running again.
The flowers were really pretty. I am fascinated by the snow cave. Having never built one I don't know how you do a roof. Whatever it is a great cave. Now aren't you glad you live in a place with some snow? :) (except for the shoveling of course.)
