Anyone who knows my sweet Brynne knows that she has traditionally been really shy and timid when it comes to being in front of people. She just doesn't like when the attention is on her. Just this year she finally agreed to be in the church primary program, but she sat where people couldn't see her and requested to not have a speaking part (we were still proud of her for participating!!). Imagine her concern when she found out she was expected to have a speaking part in a play her class was performing for parents. She decided all on her own, though, that she was going to do it! There were a few tears and a few nights of interrupted sleep, but she did it!!! Our Brynne was not only in a play in front of people, but she even had a few speaking parts!! And she did great!
Morgan has always been the opposite of Brynne when it comes to performing. I absolutely love that she can have a small part and make it big! :) She was in two plays at school recently. The picture below shows Morgan playing the role of a sheep. You better believe that her "bleating" was heard much more clearly than the words from any of the students with speaking parts! I actually am really impressed with how she gets into character and makes the most of whatever part she has. I'm thinking we'll be seeing this girl in lots more plays to come.
This last picture is one I couldn't resist sharing. Okay, be honest here... How many of you have ever seen Morgan and Brynne so close together and happy?! Makes a mother's heart happy too. :)
