Melissa is 4 Months Old!

My camera is sorta bugging me these days. I'm pretty sure a young someone with a good heart somehow messed up the settings. A lot of these pictures are a bit blurry and/or grainy, but you can still see Melissa's personality shine through!
Notice in these pictures that she isn't wearing tights. That's because she chose to have a blow-out at church that got on the tights. I was grateful it didn't get on the dress, until...
...we got home from church and started taking 4-month pictures. At that point Melissa decided to go ahead and include the dress in another blow-out. No worries. We just found more clothes and continued where we left off.
I love these pics (above and below) cause they are perfect to show what stage she's at. She loves to look at anything with a smile (toys, stuffed animals, people) and talk to it. Unfortunately I couldn't capture the talking on the camera, but you can see how much she was interacting with the bear. :)
This was my attempt to get a picture of her talking. She had a lot to say during our "photo shoot!"
Brynne never misses an opportunity to be creative. As soon as she found out it was Melissa's "birthday," she set to work making her a gift: a mobile for her pack-n-play. Brynne tried her hand at writing cursive. She wrote "Melisa" all along the top, complete with hearts for the i's. Each of the things hanging down has the name of someone in our family, and the orange one in front says "Happy Birthday."
I can't seem to get the cursor in between the above two pictures... The final picture is of Melissa after a long day of picture taking. :) I put her to bed and she was really upset. Brynne came in to hang up the mobile and I was not pleased to have any stimulation for Melissa. As it turned out, however, it calmed Melissa down. I turned her around in her pack-n-play so she could see it better and left the room. I never heard another peep from her!! I guess the mobile and the fingers (I'm thinking it was fingers three and four this time...) did the trick. :)
