The first party was our Christmas party for church. I'll have you know Brynne actually got up in front with the kids and then actually sang! After the party, we stayed to help clean up. Morgan and Brynne got permission to take home some roses from the table decorations. They each took one to their teachers the next school day. Here is beautiful Morgan with some of the roses:

Christmas Happenings
Just wanted to let you all know we're alive and having fun. We had Lee home with us for the past couple weeks, so we spent the time going to Christmas parties. :)

The next party we went to was last night. It was sponsored by our mortgage company. This year they paid for everyone to go ice skating with Santa. The girls were really excited about skating, but first they took a moment to make sure Santa was ready with their gifts! :)

We all mostly had a great time skating. There at the end Morgan took me down once, so now I have a sore back side. Morgan also fell a few times and got a bruised knee. Morgan actually quickly got to the point where she was skating by herself and did quite well. Brynne preferred to hold on (with both hands!!) to Mommy or Daddy. She also managed to make it a few feet by herself on a couple occasions. We ended the evening with some hot chocolate and donuts. I believe I can say a great time was had by all. :)

Glad the mortgage party was fun -- I knew you'd be going, but was surprised you never mentioned it. Love that you have Lee home once in a while now, too. Crazy for married people to actually see each other ... :)
SO cute with you guys and the girl's skating!
It is amazing to me how you find so many free activities to do- a mortgage party? Who knew. Glad you had fun. I don't know why it took me so long to read your blog, I thought I was up to date. Okay, you can do a new post now. I'm back on track.
Are you libing in a time warp? Just curious
