Brynne's 6th Birthday

(Note: My computer has had issues reading my memory card lately, and I haven't fixed it yet. I finally came to Denise's to put up some belated posts with pictures. Please be sure to read all three I am doing today!)

I can hardly believe Brynne turned six! I am forced to face the fact that she is growing up! For her birthday, Brynne wanted to go bowling and eat at Red Robin (where we had coupons for free meals for the girls). First stop, BYU bowling alley:

The last time we went bowling, we used one of those things that you just put the ball on top and it rolls down. This time I had them put up the bumpers, and I tried to teach the girls to do an actual approach. Check out this swing!

How can I not put this picture up for everyone to enjoy? Talk about a cute birthday girl!

It is a rare day when we get to eat out. I'm always thankful for "free kids meal" coupons when they find their way to us 'cause I really love eating out! The girls love it because I actually let them get pop sometimes at restaurants. :) Here are the three of us having fun waiting for our food to arrive:
I was delighted to find out Red Robin gives out birthday Mud Pie! Doesn't this look delicious! Brynne only wanted the whipped cream, so Morgan and I were more than happy to help her out with the rest! :)
We discovered a train ride upstairs in the mall above Red Robin. The girls were willing to pay for half the fare with their own money, so they got to go on a ride.

Next stop was Denise's house. She was kind enough to offer to make Brynne a "surprise cake" for her birthday. Brynne was very excited to see what it would be. She wasn't at all disappointed with the rainbow cupcake cake -- complete with clouds and a heart!

The Brown family and the Yetters (our renters who just bought a house and are moving so we'll miss them!!!) joined us for cake.

Brynne LOVES to wear dresses all the time. This year she received lots of dresses (along with a few other articles of clothing as well) for her birthday. She also got some books, a cow stuffed animal and some Pet Shop toys. Here she is in her room surrounded by her presents:

I think it turned out to be a really fun birthday for Brynne; and for all the rest of us who got to participate! Happy Birthday, Brynne. I love you!!

Such a sweet girl. Yes, she looks adorable- those big green/blue eyes and that red (or is it still blond according to Brynne?) hair are gorgeous! Happy Birthday Brynne-Brynne! Oh, and props on the pumpkins that was a good idea.
