My very favorite Christmas present of all actually came this morning. I was doing Morgan's hair and she told me how much she loved me. She does this often, but I love and appreciate it every time. Then she surprised me by saying, "If you asked me if I loved Brynne, then I'd say 'yes'. I didn't used to love her," [which she made very obvious to everyone by often stating how much she didn't like her sister] "but now I love her." ISN'T THAT SWEET!!! Oh man, it makes me happy!! (Morgan even colored a picture for Brynne at church yesterday and wrote "I love you Brynne" on it.) Happy days...
So onto our real Christmas. We went to my parents' house in Wyoming. We were able to spend the first week there with my sister Lindsey, and the second week with my sister Ashley. Then we went to my sister Alyson's house for the weekend after New Year's. She and her husband recently finished their basement complete with mega-large projector screen (that comes down from the ceiling), so we watched the Sugar Bowl with Utah and the
BYU/Wake Forest game in style. Meanwhile, Morgan and Brynne were able to play with their cousins -- below with
Cayden, Alex and Drew.

My pictures uploaded backwards. Guess I'm a bit out of practice. :) Anyway, here's a picture of me with Ashley's son, Marshall. Ashley and I look a lot alike, and on several
occasions Marshall thought I was his mom. It was great because he didn't let many other people hold him at first, but he came up to me and wanted held. And in the picture below, he just came over and sat on my lap. I must admit I loved every minute of it! :)

And here are my sweet girls. Admittedly, this picture was taken on "2
nd Christmas". We opened most of our presents on Christmas, but Lee wasn't able to come home until two days later. He was supposed to come the day after Christmas, but the weather was so bad that he couldn't fly in until the next day. Once he finally got there, we opened all the family presents. Then we got to have 3rd Christmas later that day when Ashley arrived.

While we were in
Rawlins, we went to several different activities at the library and also went swimming one day. As luck would have it (you gotta love small towns), the photographer from the local newspaper was on hand at each of the events. Each of my kids had their picture in the paper twice while we were there.
I'm sorry it took me so long to write. I've been feeling a bit out of touch lately. I've also been busy trying to figure out my new cameras. I got both a new camcorder and a new digital camera for Christmas. You know in your journal how you always write "I'm going to try and write more often..." Yeah, well, I'm not going to write that. :)
Meanwhile, take a look at the hours to your left. Lee actually needs only 4.3 more hours before we start the job hunting process!

Wow, that is so cool about the hours. Here's to hoping he gets a great job in Seattle and you have to move back! (even though I know you're not, I can hope right?)
It's fun to see pictures of you and your girls. You are looking awesome!
You didn't even say whether or not Brynne liked her Star Wars pj's. :)
Glad you had fun, but more glad that you're back.
